Canon R6-II Hands-on: Faster, higher resolution and heat issues nearly gone

Canon has launched the EOS R6 Mark II, a surprise given the original R6 is only two years old. The new model matches up better against rivals, particularly Sony’s A7 IV. It now has a higher resolution 24.2-megapixel sensor, double the shooting speeds in electronic mode, sharper 4K 60p video and reduced heating issues. The prototype we tested performed well, but autofocus and image quality are still question marks until we review the final production model.
